• Ellen Blonger died May 22nd 1859 in the town of Shullsburg State of Wisconsin.

(MOTHER) Judith Kennedy Blonger born December 25th 1817 in the town of Kenagh, County Tiperrary Ireland. Died May 24th 1859 in the town of Shullsburg State of Wisconsin. She was raised in the nunnery until 13 years old then sent out to do for herself. She was wealthy in her own rights.

(FATHER) Peter Simon Blonger born in France Died in Shullsburg Wisconsin. Father of 15 children. Born in 1810 lived to be 87.

Mary C. (Damunco) Swinbank born in Vermont came to Shullsburg when 1½ yrs old. She was married when 18 yrs. old. Born in the town of Swanton

Mr. Kennedy made cedar chest.

Sister Lippie and Brother Sam died.

NOTES: This transcription appears to be from a family Bible. The birth and death dates for the children appear to be quite accurate and exactly match those that can be verified. Judith's birthplace in Tiperrary should probably be Nenagh, since Kenagh is in another county. The final inscription indicating that Lippie (Elizabeth) and Sam had died hints that the last entry was written sometime after 1914 but before the other siblings had passed away.
